If you already know what you need to do to improve your own sailing, then search around in the Articles and Downloads sections to see if there is information that will help you. If not, then ask a question in Contact Us box at the bottom of the page.

How come some of the Article headlines have asterisks next to them?

You've noticed our Three-Star Rating System then! As in *, **, or *** at the end of each article headline. This is our way of telling you what level of sailor the article is aimed at. Here's how it works:

***: Advanced. Three stars is really useful advice that we believe would benefit any sailor of almost any ability, even a reigning World Champion. So the chances are you'll find these articles interesting whatever your current level of sailing.

**: Intermediate. Two stars is for the stuff that we think will interest the vast majority of racing sailors, but might already be well known by sailors who are close to the top of their national or international fleets. Even so, it's not going to do you too much harm to remind yourself of some of these things.

*: Basic. One star is for the more basic 'text book' knowledge about racing and sailing skills. If you've already enjoyed some success on the racing circuit, chances are these articles aren't going to teach you much that you don't know already. If you're a mid-fleet finisher in your club racing, these articles could be a good place to start.
